Greg Sorber

Focus: Writer, Communications StrategyGreg Sorber

Greg Sorber is a professional writer and communications strategist with more than a dozen years of marketing and public relations experience. Since 2003, he has been developing a wide range of materials for HP, Intel, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Mentor Graphics, Tektronix, Immersive Media and several others. These include everything from case studies and newsletter articles to Web copy and white papers.

Previously, Greg served as a public relations executive for the world’s most successful software company and a leading test and measurement corporation. He was also a marketing communications manager for a technology services firm, responsible for generating awareness and sales leads nationwide while supporting the marketing efforts of several branch offices.

All told, his experiences have cultivated a strong sense of communications strategy that extends well beyond large words and professional syntax. Greg seeks to understand his clients’ customers and prospects – and their unique challenges and opportunities – in order to educate and compel them. Only then can the products and services that provide relief be effectively promoted.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of Puget Sound. When he’s not writing and consulting from his home office in Portland, Oregon, Greg pursues anything deemed “fun” and regularly drags his wife, friends and half-blind basset hound along for the ride.
